I'm Brian Powers, a Creative Director/Art Director with extensive global production experience. With every assignment I undertake, I strive to find a sweet spot in the constantly changing communications landscape. To me, brand communication is no longer just about what you say, or where you say it—its about what you do. I help brands create objects, authentic experiences, products and innovations that engage people in exciting ways.
After winning my first advertising award in the 5th grade, there was no turning back. Chevy engaged thousands of kids in a competition tolaunch the Venture with a tie-in to marine artist Robert Wyland. At the time, I could not have been more proud of the headline: “You Otter Buy this Car or you'll Miss Trout.” You’ll be happy to know that I quickly learned to leave copywriting to the copywriters.
In 2009, I graduated from the College for Creative Studies. Since which time, I’ve paid my dues working my way up on the agency side and traveled the Globe producing disruptive campaigns for clients like Dove, Pledge BP, ,and Glade. These days, you can find me searching for the best whiskey bar in San Francisco or pickling summer squash in my Hayes Valley kitchen.
